McMahon's Power Lines Pty Ltd carries out maintenance on both high voltage and low voltage overhead electrical networks. These services range from carrying out programmed preventative maintenance schedules, including ground line and pole top inspections and reporting, to repairs necessary due to condemned service reports issued by the Electrical Authority in the area.
Programmed Maintenance
Programmed preventative maintenance schedules can be designed to suit your particular installation.
These programs range from ground line inspections for local councils and sporting bodies on their parks and sporting oval floodlighting poles and poles associated with the supply of power to these, ground line and pole top inspections on individual poles as requested by individual clients, to full programmed periodic ground line inspections, pole top inspections and foliage management, including full reporting of condition, recommendations of any remedial works and pricing to carryout these works. These reports become records for customers duty of care obligations and bushfire prevention compliance. We carry out these more detailed inspections for government bodies, major installations and mines, all of which are sensitive to unplanned interruptions to electricity supply.
For the convenience of our high voltage clients, our staff hold high voltage switching authorities to enable us to carry out inspections and repairs at a time to most suit them and enabling us to minimise the areas effected while these works are carried out.
Defects issued by Electrical Authorities.
If you have one of these defects issued against your installation simply call us on 02 4576 1243 or email us at info@mcmahonspowerlines.com.au and we will have one of our team contact you to arrange a quote to carry out the repairs. Once carrying out the works if successful, we will submit all necessary paperwork to the relevant authority to clear your defect. If you do have a fax readily available, then fax a copy of the defect to us on 02 4576 1450 with your contact details and we will contact you in regards to organising a quote for you.
